Tirupati Graphite CEO says company is “doing very well and growing fast”

–News Direct–

Tirupati Graphite PLC (LSE:TGR, OTCQX:TGRHF) CEO Shishir Poddar speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive London after the specialist graphite and graphene company released a production and trading update for the first half of its financial year.

Poddar starts by clarifying an announcement from the company back in August, before going on to emphasise the company's achievements in the past six months, including the launch of new plants, the overcoming of infrastructure difficulties, and intensive training of staff. He also assures investors that the company is "doing very well and growing fast."

In response to a question about Tirupati's decision to raise some capital using debt financing, Poddar indicates that the raise is aimed at addressing the challenge of lower-than-expected raw material grade and contamination.

The company plans to expand its pre-concentrate units to increase overall capacity utilisation. When asked about future expectations, Poddar expresses confidence that operations during the company's second half will run more smoothly, citing the successful resolution of operational issues.
